The socially-charged track shows off Baptiste's vocals perfectly. "I want to stand up for tolerance. The song is about Freedom in all forms." Baptiste tells Glamoholic about the inspiration behind the song he wrote and composed by himself. "Be yourself without caring about what people think" he adds.
Baptiste just wrapped filming the music video of the single, and it's expected to be released very soon. The shooting took place by the ocean in Lacanau, France.
Lyrics translation to English:
"I'm Tired"
My skin is thick
Hard to get used to offense
I don’t wanna keep quiet
It’s all in the appearance
I want to be
But how do you get rid of
What others expect from you?
I’d like to understand
Why it'sdone this way
It runs so much in my head
(Chorus)
I’m tired of political correctness
I am sick of seeing humans in chains
Everything breaks, but let it go
I’m tired, I’m no longer in the game
My heart is heavy
Heavy with wounds
The world is like a deaf wall
It’s all in the appearance
Everybody wants to please
But how do you get rid of
What others expect from you?
I’d like to understand
Why it's done this way
It runs so much in my head
