The release marks another preview of KONNAKOL, his fifth studio album, arriving April 17, 2026 via Mercury Records. It follows “Die For Me,” which introduced the project last month and quickly drew attention for its polished return to ZAYN’s pop-R&B core.

With KONNAKOL, the scope widens. The album blends a sleek, pop-forward sound with broader cultural influences, both sonically and visually. ZAYN reunites with producer Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde), continuing a creative partnership that has shaped some of his most defining work. The artwork, featuring a snow leopard—a symbol deeply rooted in South Asia—offers a glimpse into the personal and cultural references behind the project.

The album’s release will be followed by The KONNAKOL Tour, his largest solo tour to date. It begins May 12 in Manchester and will travel through major cities including London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and São Paulo, before wrapping in Miami on November 20. Earlier this year, ZAYN also completed his first Las Vegas residency, where he previewed unreleased material from the album and drew praise for the clarity of his vocals and a more confident stage presence.

This phase builds on the momentum of 2024’s Room Under the Stairs, along with recent collaborations including “Eyes Closed” with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. The track earned a 2026 iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for Favorite K-Pop Collaboration and performed strongly across global charts, debuting on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., the US Hot 100, and Spotify Global rankings, while topping iTunes in over 40 countries.

“Sideways” keeps the tone of the era consistent—refined, atmospheric, and fully aligned with the sound ZAYN has made his own.
