The first season of "Shadowhunters" just ended. What was your favorite moment in the season finale?
It's so hard to pick. But I like the way the season ended. Jace went through such a huge transition and "morning star" was a culmination of all that.
Jace went through a lot this season. What was the most challenging part about playing this character?
Delving feeling into a quite damaged mind of Jace. And on top of that having to hide it within layers of cockiness and arrogance. That been said, that was also one of my favourite parts about season 1.
Clary and Jace's relationship had its share of ups and downs as well, ended the season on the negative side. Was it the right decision to break her heart in order to protect her?
It's not only Clary but also Jace's friends! The light woods, his brother and sister. But Jace is doing what he knows in his heart is right.
What was it like to work with Katherine and the whole cast?
It's amazing to work with actors that work hard. That always makes the whole experience more fun and easier as you end up very comfortable with everyone around you.
What can the fans expect in season 2?
I haven't been told a lot but I can tease. So 1- Jace gets worse before he gets better, 2- there will be a lot of Clace and MALEC and 3- we may be meeting the Seelie queen.
What does it add to the whole experience when you have a big passionate fan-base for the show?
A lot. It's a weird mix of pressure and support. It's fantastic having people behind us, whatever we do. But also we have to try and put that to one side on set and just worry about the filming, the task at hand.
What do you have in common with Jace?
Not a huge amount. I definitely don't have any Angel blood! But the more I played him the more I connected with him.
Jace has a very cool style and hair. Do you steal any fashion moves from him?
I wish I could pull off that Jace look.

"Take Down" is a thrill ride action movie with the amazing Ed Westwick, Pheobe Tonkin and Elliot knight!
What did attract you the most to play James?
The whole movie. The cast and the training were big factors! It was just a super fun job.
Is "The Other" your first horror movie? Did you enjoy making it?
I loved "The Other". My character, Zach, is a really damaged character struggling with a condition called DPD. It was dark and scary and great.
How does it feel to have all of these amazing things going on in your career currently?
It's everything I've been working towards my whole life! It's a very exciting time for me!
What type of roles would you like to play next?
Elvis or James Dean... Too specific?
Who would be your dream co-star?
Daniel day-Lewis or Tom Hardy.
Would we see you on screen again with Sarah?
I can only hope. Working with her is truly special to me...stay tuned!
What is it like that both of you are on successful TV shows?
Great. We push each other to be better versions of ourselves! I love that about her.
How are your dogs? Did Boo enjoy the shoot?
They are great! We are very proud puppy parents. Boo lives attention so yeah, she loved the shoot.
