Your new movie "Meet The Blacks" just premiered. What can you tell us about it?
Oh, I can't wait to see the film, I've been working so haven't been able to screen it! But I can tell you that I laughed till my stomach hurt. Mike is absolutely hilarious alongside some of the funniest people in the industry. Very excited- I hope you guys like it!

What did you enjoy the most about playing Lorena?
I loved that Lorena was truly and really in love and trying to keep her family together. It's really great to see a Latina woman being portrayed in a positive way, responsible, family oriented while still being sexy.

We will see you next in NetFlix's "True Memoirs Of An International Assasin". How different is your character in this film from the other comedy roles you played?
It's funny- I've been in a few comedy movies and I'm always the non-comedian. I play Rosa Bolivar, a straight laced, DEA agent with a tough exterior but a heart of gold who kind of goes Rogue with Kevin's character Sam. She is kind of the voice of reason, but I'm happy to say that I think I have some funny moments in the film, thanks to Kevin James!

"If Loving You Is Wrong" is about to return with all-new episodes on OWN. What's coming next for Esperanza?
I just wrapped season three, actually as we're speaking. I am really proud of Esperanza, she's coming into her own, becoming stronger every day. I love that she is kind of the strong one this season and is providing very much needed emotional support for her friends who are going through so much. I also feel that she is really standing her ground with her decision to leave Edward and it's really good to see her overcome that painful part of her life with dignity and respect.

What is it like to work Tyler Perry?
I just Love Tyler... I'm so proud of him, his success is admirable and working for him is inspirational- fast paced at times but definitely a huge blessing.

Working out is always on your schedule. Is there any fitness tip you can share with us?
Just get it done! Find the things you love and just do it- working out for me is so much more than just about fitness. It inspires and challenges me, I find new ways to have fun doing it because it just sets the tone for a positive kickass day! Ps. I LOVE soul cycle, yoga and boxing... Mixing it up makes it much more fun and interesting.

How would you describe your off-screen style?
I guess I would have to say causal chic, I love to be comfortable without compromising style. . On most days I will wear something as simple as a tank top, skinny jeans, and complete the look with a fierce heel.
