Tell me about your latest competition. How did it go? Are you happy with the result?
It was my first fight in a long time because of COVID, so I was very excited! My opponent was a really tough fighter because he was a puncher with an amazing record. I controlled the fight and won with my strategy successfully. I am very happy of the result because it was one of my best fights ever.

Amazing… Do you still feel the same thrill from winning?
Yes! It’s an amazing moment. I feel very happy, I get overjoyed. It feels like an adrenaline shot.

What motivates you to keep fighting and competing?
This adrenaline, I love it! I love boxing, and I feel great when I fight. It’s the best place to be, I’m a happy fighter. What motivate me is to be the best, stay a champion and to see myself go to the next level.

At what age did you know that this is what you wanna do?
As soon as I started I knew I was going to do it like a pro and became a world champion. I felt that I was made for it. When I started at 13 I felt like this sport was amazing and I dreamed to become a champion.

What were the biggest challenges during your journey to become the champion you are right now?
The biggest challenge was to train and come back from injuries. Sometimes I had to fight against doctors advices, but my motivation was so strong that nothing could stop me.

What do you think makes the difference between a normal athlete and a champion?
A champion keeps working harder than the others, and he is obsessed with success, even when he falls he keeps going ahead, whatever happens.

Recently, you’re combining between your career as an athlete and fashion / style. Are you planning some specific projects in that domain?
Yes! Being on stage as a model feels similar to being in the ring! And I love it! I really love to be on stage and I want to push my fashion career! I also would like to develop my career as an actor.

Oh I didn’t know that! Are you taking acting classes?
Yes, I need to exercise first, and then I’ll start going to castings.

I think that your fans/followers enjoy seeing you in different ways… would you ever launch a fashion line of your own?
Love that question! Many of my followers like my fashion style and that’s something I’m working on. At the beginning I want to collaborate with a brand, and it’s already in the works.

What would be your next dream?
To fight in Las Vegas for a big show, and to be successful in cinema as much as I succeed in kickboxing.

Now I wanna know a little about you as a person. You said you’re happy in the boxing ring, what makes you happy off stage?
Family, friends and chilling with a nice meal. I love food [laughs].

What’s your favorite meal?
I have so many... I love meat [laughs], I love Italian food, Thai, I really love everything.

How about desserts? Any favorite? You have the best desserts in France!
[Laughs] I’m more into salty foods than sweet, but my favorite is dark chocolate.

Besides eating, what do you enjoy doing when you don’t have to train?
I love to dance, I love to watch movies, and more than anything else I love to travel. To learn about new countries and new cultures.

Which countries do you wish to visit next?
I want to go back to USA for work and to start my career there. Then for holidays I want to go to Indonesia, New Caledonia. I love Asia. I would love to explore Japan too.
