"I JUST REMIND MYSELF THAT I'M PURSUING WHAT MAKES ME THE HAPPIEST AT THE END OF THE DAY"

Congratulations on the huge success of “Cobra Kai” on “Netflix”. Did you expect this amazing feedback from the fans of the show?
Thank you! I think we all knew how special the show was since the beginning but it’s been unbelievable seeing all the support we’ve received after moving to Netflix.

What were your initial thoughts on “Moon” when you first read the script?
I thought she was super care free and fun loving. Since the beginning of the show, I’ve had so much fun playing her.

What was it like to work with the whole cast?
I love our cast and crew. They’re like a second family at this point and will always be an important part of my life. I grew up with these guys and had all my first experiences on set with them. A lot of love for all of them!

What did you enjoy the most about being part of “Cobra Kai”?
I mean it’s hard to pick just one but I always have so much fun watching my cast mates perform all the incredible stunts and choreography in the show. They work so hard on those fights and I’m always blown away.

Are you excited for Season 4?
I’m so stoked for the new season! I can’t wait for the fans to see it.

We’ve also seen you recently on Amazon Prime’s “Tell Me Your Secrets”. How different was your experience on this show?
I got to hang out in New Orleans, meet some cool people, and eat some incredible food. It was so much fun!

I heard that you also filmed something for Halloween! Is there anything you can tell us about it yet?
I think that I’ll actually have two projects coming out around Halloween now and all I can say is one is pretty spooky and the other has a bit of magic.

What type of movies would you like to work on in the future?
I’d love to be a part of a book-to-film adaption! I would also love to be in a movie musical someday.

Who would be your dream co-star?
Oh hands down Florence Pugh.

What was it like to have all of this going on for you, career wise, during this pandemic?
It’s been very surreal. It’s still hard to comprehend the success of the show without going out in public as much with Covid and everything.

Once life gets back to normal you’ll be able to get the direct feedback from people on all of your recent work. Are you excited to experience a more “real” interaction with the audience?
It’ll be nice to talk to fans face to face again and oh my gosh hug people again!

Take me back to your childhood. Was acting always your dream?
I always loved performing; whether that was putting on plays with my siblings or singing in my school choirs. I think I always wanted to be a part of the film industry.

When was the first time you felt like you’re actually living your dream?
I remember waking up early for filming on season one of Cobra Kai. I’m not normally a morning person but I would wake up every single day so excited to get to work and be on set. That’s when I realized I was doing what I love and that’s definitely the dream.

What helped you believe in yourself the most? What/who was your biggest support system?
It’s so easy to lose confidence in yourself in this industry and at the end of the day I just remind myself that I’m pursuing what makes me the happiest at the end of the day. I’m so lucky to have the support system I do. My family, friends and team always have my back and I wouldn’t be where I am without all of them.

Would you like to branch into beauty / fashion projects in the future?
Definitely! I think that would be a lot of fun!

Are you Glamoholic?
I love getting all glam and dressing up but I can also appreciate a night in, with no make up and my favorite oversized t-shirt. Balance is key for me.
